The Imam Bukhari Centre was setup by a small group of brothers and sisters for the purpose of furthering Islamic education for the Muslims of not just Milton but the GTA and beyond. **We run on a Community Funded Model, where the Majority of our Programs are funded by donations so that if a child or an adult cannot pay, then they are able to attend for free**
We are happy to say that it has made a considerable impact in the short time it has been here with Muslims coming to learn essential aspects of their religion from all parts of the GTA and online from across the world

Our Accomplishments
Our motto is built on “Knowledge” – “Action” – “Dawah” and we are pleased to say that, with Allah’s (AWJ) help, we make a very large impact despite being the smallest Islamic Centre in the town, Alhamdulillah.
Apart from Daily Salat’s and Jumah, Our Regular Weekly Activities include:
1) Explanation of Essential Ahadith of the Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa Sallam) – after Salat-ul Isha
2) Explanation of the Seerah of the Messenger (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) – every Sunday after Fajr
3) Arabic for Non-Native Speakers – Weekly class
3) Quran – Tajweed and Memorization for boys/men and girls/women
4) The Lives of the Sahaba – a weekly youth class
5) Weekend School teaching the essentials of Aqeedah, Fiqh and Seerah for Youth and Adults – Men and Women
We have also taken the responsibility of calling non-muslims to Islam via a regular schedule of bi-weekly street dawah, built on rigorous da’wah training offered by our brothers at IERA.
Benefiting Students of Knowledge
Our Summer Courses and Seminars include summer long certificate level courses that have been attended by large numbers of students following in the curriculum of the Islamic University of Madinah. Some of these are:
- Preservation of the Prophetic Sunnah – Summer 2022 – 5 Days Long
- Biographies of the Imams of the 6 Books of Hadith – Summer 2022 – 4 Weeks Long
- History of the Prophetic Sunnah – Summer 2023 – 6 Weeks Long
- Status of the Prophetic Sunnah – Summer 2023 – 6 Weeks Long
- Biographies of the Eminent Scholars of Hadith (covering 12 of them) – Summer 2023 – 6 Weeks Long
- Methodology of the Ahlul Hadith in Fiqh and Understanding of the Religion – Summer 2023 – 4 Weeks Long
- Explanation of the Earliest Text’s of the Salaf in Belief and Foundations of the Religion – Fall 2023 (Ongoing) – 10 Month Course
